Idolatry Looms Large In America And God's Blessings Dry Up

Idolatry looms large in America... for all of our protestations, otherwise, we possess numerous significant idols - as a nation. They include: Money, Fame, Power, and Success - among others. But the greatest, of all our idols, is Government! Americans fully believe that: "Man-Made Governments can provide the solution to anything..." and, over time, we've placed everything into their [seemingly] capable hands. Our leaders have become "The New Priesthood" - who stand to constantly intercede for us, before this Strange New God. Two divergent parties control The Priesthood: Our Sadducee Democrats [who believe there will never be an actual judgment], and Our Pharisaical Republicans [who speak great and inspiring things, but don't do anything that they ever effectually say].

America likes this New God much more than Yahweh, for they perceive her as being very very strong. She asks no one to give her a simple ten percent tithe... hell, she demands double that [as the tribute fully due her] and will use physical force to ensure that she invariably gets it. Nor, does she ask her followers to be generous and charitable... she can [merely] take whatever she wants and then pass it on to yet others. In battle she vanquishes all others, through her very powerful technological magics... and her servants are protected, by her various miraculous enchantments! Who on Earth can stand against her and yet live? Meanwhile, all of the nations on Earth honestly tremble before her....

In God We Trust... but [precisely] which one?

While we've given up on Yahweh's spiritual and temporal blessings, Our New Governmental God is now amply providing for these current functions. More importantly, our New God doesn't require any silly morality or ethics to substantially obtain her god-given societal blessings. The lazy man shall eat... the non-productive gets paid... and even the crooks can get substantially bailed out! True, Yahweh may own the cattle and sheep on a thousand hills across our largely populated planet... but Our New God, can print all of the money that she may ever need to effectually buy them!

And yet, I just can't help but wonder... "If men can so easily create their Own God, then why wouldn't everybody on Earth be doing it?" Could it be, that our New God, isn't really any kind of God at all? And what of those heretical Austrian Economists - those perpetual prophets of doom. Could their horrific predictions be right? What if all that paper money [really] does become worthless overnight; and all of our seemingly endless wealth comes to naught? What will our New God do then? Might she grow increasingly: restless, frustrated, and/or angry with her millions of irreverent individual servants? After all, it's never good to anger your own personal God....

Oh, Nation Of Fools, you have already angered Your Own God, for Yahweh Our Creator has inspired the prophet to write thusly, for this wicked and largely adulterous generation... and, as he has written, it shall soon come to pass:

One loaf of bread shall soon equate to a man's full day labors. For though the earth shall bring forth its fruit, your False Gods - both: your governments and their worthless paper money - will be powerless to acquire it for you. Remember whose children you truly are before it's too late! Your False Gods, such as: Money, Fame, Power, and Success can profit a man nothing... even less, The Ineffectual Governments Of Man. All forms Of Idolatry are an abomination to Yahweh Our Creator.
