Isaiah 56: Salvation For Spiritual Obedience

"If you love me, then keep My Commandments..."
In a day and age when Presumption and Licentiousness is being preached from within America's Pulpits and "The Gospel Of Greed" is being evangelized across the international airwaves, the clear word of Yahweh rings out...
  • "Thus says Yahweh: 'Keep justice and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling The Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.'" - Isaiah 56:1-2.

Whereas, it's true that we cannot earn Salvation through our own good works, it is equally true that we cannot [honestly] love Yahweh - while blatantly disobeying His: Simple, Clear, and Unchanging Instructions.... When shall we ever learn that Spiritual Righteousness is predicated upon precariously balancing these factors? It is not called: "The Middle Path," or "The Straight And Narrow Way" without very good reasons! Rather, than bouncing all over the map between opposite extremes, why not try consistently reverent Spiritual Obedience? After all, He doesn't take pleasure in any of our outward sacrifices... but, He has always been glorified through our Ongoing and Internal Obedience.

Just a thought, from "A True Believer."
